This is my first term on City Council and I want to thank the community for the opportunity to serve you over the next four years. I look forward to working with you to address the exciting opportunities as well as the challenges that lay ahead for us.
For those who don’t know me, I attended St. Thomas Aquinas and have lived more recently in the City for ten years. My wife, Elena and I live in Lower Lonsdale. I am an MBA with a background in accounting and, for the last ten years, have worked as a project manager delivering complex infrastructure projects in the public utility sector. I am currently working as a Project Director with a Crown corporation.
I am passionate about our city and have volunteered with several civic committees and organizations including:
- Integrated Transportation Committee
- Major Infrastructure Projects Committee
- North Shore Neighbourhood House Vancouver Foundation Grants Committee
- HUB Cycling - North Shore
- Central Waterfront Brand Development (Shipyards)
- North Van Urban Forum
I envision a vibrant, diverse City of North Vancouver where transportation and housing options abound, and our public spaces are the envy of Metro Vancouver.
All of this is supported by a strong local economy where small business thrives. We have a lot of work to continue towards this goal, but I am proud to be working on this with all of you.
