Fire Prevention staff are entrenched in the community, delivering public safety messages to all ages, conducting fire extinguisher training courses, and hall tours for school-aged groups.

NVCFD firefighters also volunteer countless hours in the community, raising awareness and funds for Burn Awareness Week, Fire Prevention Week, and the North Vancouver City Firefighters Scholarship Fund.
