North Vancouver Recreation & Culture (NVRC)

North Vancouver is one of Canada's most active, healthy, and creative communities and its residents value a healthy lifestyle achieved through recreation and culture. This is evidenced by the more than three million visits to community recreation facilities each year; a strong public art program; and, an abundance of thriving arts and cultural organizations, programs and events. .

North Vancouver Recreation & Culture (NVRC) is a bi-municipal organization that delivers arts, culture and recreation programs and services on behalf of the City and District of North Vancouver. These include the provision of quality recreation and arts experiences, operation of community recreation facilities and Centennial Theatre, coordination of Public Art programs, management of grants programs, and promotional and cultural planning services. Arts & Culture Grants

Grants are available to support the operations of local arts organizations, events and festivals, and to foster a wide range of activities that reflect the talent, creativity, spirit and diversity of the community. Each year NVRC invests over $750,000 in grants to support arts and culture in the community.
