Purpose: The Library Board is accountable for setting the strategic direction and policy framework for the library, ensuring financial oversight and organizational accountability. The primary responsibilities of the Board include establishing strategic priorities, developing policies, providing financial stewardship, and hiring the Chief Librarian to lead day-to-day operations.
Terms of Office: Eight members serve a two-year term to a maximum of four terms, concluding December 31st.
