Community Policing Services

The goal of the North Vancouver Community Policing Section is to promote "Partners for a Safe Community" for everyone in the City and District of North Vancouver. This is accomplished by providing support to our internal and external partners through the variety of community programs offered at our Community Policing Centres.

North Vancouver RCMP's community and crime prevention programs are based on the belief that police can only be effective when engaged, informed citizens get involved in the safety of their homes, businesses and neighbourhoods. Volunteering with the North Vancouver RCMP is a great way to:

  • Get connected to your neighbours and your neighbourhood.
  • Meet new people from diverse backgrounds and build a stronger social and professional network.
  • Gain skills and experience that will make your job and post secondary education applications stand out.
  • Put your unique skills and abilities to work supporting your local police.
  • Learn about crime and safety in your community and what you can do to keep your family, friends and property safe.

Volunteer Application forms are available by emailing nvcpc@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
