The Shipyards Splash Park

The Splash Park is closing for the season at 8pm on Monday, September 4. To stay in the loop on all updates and news, follow The Shipyards official Instagram account, @TheShipyardsCNV.

The Shipyards Splash Park is a perfect way for kids and families to cool off during the summer months. Pack a lunch and enjoy the water views from one of the picnic tables, or grab food at any of the restaurants or shops located in the Shipyards. Washroom facilities are available on-site.

The Splash Park is part of Shipyard Commons, offering year 'round seasonal fun. In the colder months, the covered area is converted to a Skate Plaza.The area surrounding The Shipyards Commons has many shops and restaurants – learn more at the Lower Lonsdale Business Improvement Association's The Shipyards District website.

Splash Park Rules

The number one rule at the Splash Park is to be courteous, respectful, and safe.

Other rules at the Splash Park:

  • Don't enter if you feel unwell.
  • Keep a safe distance from others.
  • Supervision is not provided at ANY time by the City – use at your own risk. Children must be supervised at all times.
  • Wear swimsuits and/or appropriate attire.
  • No running or rough play.
  • No skateboards, roller blades, bicycles, or scooters.
  • No food allowed.
  • No pets allowed.
  • No glass, breakable objects, or water balloons.
  • Footwear or sandals are strongly recommended.

     Note: the Splash Park uses recirculated water, so please don't drink it. There’s a water fountain by the nearby Welcome Parlour Ice Cream to keep you hydrated!
