Making Eastview Park welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.
What's Happening Now
The revised design for the preferred Loop concept is complete. Based on site reviews and community feedback, the plan includes a 9-hole disc golf course, a looping accessible gravel trail through existing trees and open spaces, and upgrades such as fencing, restoration planting, signage, and seating areas. Work is expected to begin this summer and complete in early fall 2026. During construction, access to parts of the park and trails may be temporarily limited or closed to the public.

Eastview Park is located on the eastern boundary of the City between Rufus Drive and Mountain Highway. This 2.8 hectare neighbourhood park is accessed for its wooded walking trails, open spaces and disc golf course.
Following City Council’s decision in March 2024, staff developed a park improvement plan for Eastview Park based on four core principles informed by Phase 1 engagement, site analysis, and Council direction:
- Ensuring safety for all visitors
- Improving trails and circulation
- Supporting a healthy forest ecology
- Creating a thoughtful disc golf experience suitable for a neighborhood park
From May to July 2025, the City conducted engagement activities to share proposed concepts for Eastview Park and gather the community's feedback. Through this community engagement process “The Loop” was identified as the preferred final design concept.
