Garbage, Recycling & Green Can

All collection services continue as per usual. To protect everyone, including our collection crews, please ensure all personal hygiene products, used tissues, cleaning cloths, face masks, gloves, and similar items are disposed of in garbage bags. Garbage bags should be tied securely for disposal. Un-bagged or loose items will not be collected.

If you’re sick or caring for someone who is sick: all personal waste should be double bagged in plastic garbage bags and securely tied shut, prior to putting out for collection.

The City continues to develop innovative programs and services to reduce and manage our waste materials. However, the best way to deal with garbage is by not creating it in the first place - making small changes to how you purchase and use items can make a big difference.

Garbage is collected every other week. Recycling, green cans and yard waste are collected weekly.
Recycling in apartments & townhomes is simple with three blue carts: containers, glass, paper.
