Pride Week in the City

Ready to #ShowYourPride? Mayor Buchanan kicked off the celebrations, proclaiming next week Pride Week in the City. From July 26 to August 2, we're celebrating by raising the Pride Flag, Transgender Flag, and Bisexual Flag in Civic Plaza. City Hall will be lit up in Pride colours all week long.

Stories and Songs with Connie Smudge | Saturday, July 31 | 10am - 11am 

Join City Library and the iconic North Shore drag queen Conni Smudge for children's story time, songs, and crafts at the Shipyards.

Spokes n' Words Pride | July 29 | 1pm - 4pm | Pride Parklet 

City Library's book bike, Spokes n' Words, is sharing LGBTQIA2S+ literature in the City's Pride Parklet.

#NorthVanLiving History: North Shore Pride Alliance Video 

The Museum of North Vancouver, together with North Shore Pride Alliance, created a video in their #NorthVanLiving History series, to explore the power of personal storytelling to foster resilience in our communities.
