Zoned for Safe Socializing

During Covid-19, Council wanted to give residents more space to socialize outdoors with friends and family while maintaining physical distance. That's why we've made popular City locations great places to connect this summer. Alcohol is now allowed in some of our outdoor parks and plazas from 11am – 9pm, seven days a week.

We’ve got signage in place that shows the approved zones plus a handy map. Please enjoy responsibly and do your part to keep our parks litter free.

Wondering about washrooms? They’re open until 10pm and you'll find one at most locations, including at The Shipyards. We’re currently working on temporary washrooms in Victoria Park and Civic Plaza.
