Skate Plaza Closing for the Season this Sunday

February 27, 2020

What an amazing first season for our brand new City Skate Plaza at the Shipyards. We thank the community for embracing this unique ‘people place’ amenity Council delivered last summer as a Splash Park and then this fall as a Skate Plaza. So many special memories for so many families. March 1 is the last day to skate, then our crews prepare the area for our guests, Rogers Hometown Hockey who’ll be here mid March. And before you know it, the Splash Park opens for its second season.
