Flags at Half Mast in the City

January 08, 2020

A message from Mayor Linda Buchanan:

"The City of North Vancouver joins its Iranian community and Canadians across the country in mourning the loss of life in the tragic plane crash in Tehran. Our flags are flying at half-mast in memory of the Canadian citizens who perished, and in support of our community members who have lost family and friends. We grieve with them."

Please feel free to leave memorial flowers or words of support at the water fountain in Civic Plaza, underneath the clock.
