Wow. Rapid Transit to the North Shore?!

May 16, 2019

Huge announcement from Mayor Buchanan, Ministry of Transportation, TransLink and local mayors – a study into rapid transit across the Burrard Inlet to the North Shore.

The result of stakeholder collaboration was unveiled this week. “This brings us a critical step closer to addressing traffic issues in a meaningful way. Approvals of this funding demonstrate the benefits of intergovernmental co-operations. This is the kind of bold action we need to take as we work to become the healthiest small city in the world,” says Mayor Buchanan.
