City Waterfront

With uses ranging from waterfront industry and marine activity to residential, retail and public spaces, the City's waterfront is a significant asset to the community. Strategically situated along nearly six kilometres of Burrard Inlet, with spectacular views of downtown Vancouver and the North Shore mountains, the waterfront is both a tremendous location and a gateway to the Greater Vancouver region. 

The City's Central Waterfront has been transformed into an exciting and unique community destination, delivering on Council's vision to create a family, arts and entertainment focused area. The waterfront is a striking venue for countless community events, concerts and markets, including the popular Shipyards Night MarketSummer Sessions Concert Series, the City's annual Christmas Festival and other events year round.
