Your Property as a Film Location

Your property could have a starring role as a film location in a movie or TV series.

In recent years over 30% of filming in the City took place in private homes and businesses. The financial rewards can be considerable, ranging from $500 to $3,500+ each day, depending on the type of project, its budget, your property and the amount of space that will be used.

The ideal property typically has large rooms with plenty of natural light, as well as access to on-street parking. Locations do not need to be glamorous or in an immaculate condition. Single family homes, shops, office, townhouses and condos are all desirable property types.

The City film office is not involved in negotiations between the Film Production and residents/businesses.
