How to Get Here

The Shipyards is easy to get to! We’re anticipating that some days will be very busy so we encourage you to walk, roll, or take transit if you are able to.

Walk to The Shipyards along the Spirit Trail (a multi-use pathway extending East and West across the North Shore) or through beautiful Lower Lonsdale, which are both very pedestrian-friendly.

Bike along the Spirit Trail. This path is part of a network of bike lanes in the City. See the North Shore Bike map for more information. Bike parking is available throughout The Shipyards with many racks at Lonsdale Quay, including free, secure, app-activated racks. A free Bike Valet will also be offered at two separate locations on Uber Eats Canada Soccer House days.

See the Transportation Access map for bike parking locations and other transportation options.

Evolve e-bike share is available for visitors who don’t have a bike or prefer not to ride their own. Evolve E-bikes are available across the North Shore, with many parking zones in the Shipyards and Lower Lonsdale. Get 10 mins of free ride time when starting or ending your trip at Park Royal, Lonsdale Quay, or Phibbs Exchange!

Transit for the duration of the World Cup will include additional scheduled sailings to the Lonsdale Quay transit hub, which is just a 5-minute walk from The Shipyards. If you are coming from downtown Vancouver or the SkyTrain, catch the SeaBus at Waterfront Station. The SeaBus crossing takes just 12 minutes and runs every 15 minutes throughout the day, and every 10 minutes before and after matches at BC Place. Take one of several buses in the region that connect to Lonsdale Quay or Lower Lonsdale. For more information on transit during the World Cup, see TransLink’s Rider Guide.

Drive and use one of the parkade and street parking options throughout Lower Lonsdale. For more information on parking, visit our Pay Parking webpage. If you are picking up or dropping off passengers, please do so at the designated loading zones on the Transportation Access map. To support the flow of traffic and access for Shipyards residents and businesses, Victory Ship Way will be one-way (westbound) for the duration of the event (June 4-July 19).

On peak days there will be limited road closures south of Esplanade St on Lonsdale Ave and Carrie Cates Court for safety.
