Eastview Park

Making Eastview Park welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.

Eastview Park is located on the eastern boundary of the City between Rufus Drive and Mountain Highway. This 2.8 hectare neighbourhood park is accessed for its wooded walking trails, open spaces and disc golf course.

Following City Council’s decision in March 2024, staff developed a park improvement plan for Eastview Park based on four core principles informed by Phase 1 engagement, site analysis, and Council direction:

  • Ensuring safety for all visitors
  • Improving trails and circulation
  • Supporting a healthy forest ecology
  • Creating a thoughtful disc golf experience suitable for a neighborhood park

Next Steps

From May to July 2025, the City conducted engagement activities to share proposed concepts for Eastview Park and gather the community's feedback. Through this community engagement process “The Loop” was identified as the preferred final design concept. The project team is currently working on a revised version of the Loop to integrate feedback gathered on both concepts. The parks final design will be shared in 2026.
