Making Eastview Park welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.
Eastview Park is located on the eastern boundary of the City between Rufus Drive and Mountain Highway. This 2.8 hectare neighbourhood park is accessed for its wooded walking trails, open spaces and disc golf course.

Why are we conducting engagement?
Following direction from City Council in March 2024, we’re exploring ways to make disc golf the primary focus of Eastview Park, while mitigating the impacts on other park users. We’re building concepts that follow four core principles shaped by Phase 1 engagement held in summer 2023:
- Ensuring safety for all visitors
- Improving trails and circulation
- Supporting a healthy forest ecology
- Creating a thoughtful disc golf experience suitable for a neighborhood park
Phase 2 engagement and next steps
In June and July of 2025, the City conducted Phase 2 engagement activities to share proposed concepts for Eastview Park and gather the community's feedback. Engagement included two public open houses and an online survey. The results from the engagement will be used to refine a final concept, which will be presented to City Council for review and decision in late 2025.
