The Green Necklace is an urban greenway that forms a 7.5km scenic loop around our City centre, linking historic parks and buildings, public spaces and commercial areas.
Winding its way along our scenic waterfront, the North Shore Spirit Trail is a true City treasure. This unique, waterfront-oriented trail provides pedestrians, cyclists, inline skaters and people with wheeled mobility aids safe access across the North Shore.

A signature landmark in the City, the Burrard Dry Dock Pier offers spectacular views of the North Shore and Vancouver skylines. The Pier has contributed to the transformation of the City's waterfront into a major urban destination.

Known as Presentation House Gallery for nearly four decades, The Polygon Gallery is a non-collecting Canadian public art gallery with a focus on photography and media-based art.

Adjacent to the Pier, The Shipyards has been transformed into a vibrant public space, with restaurants, waterfront walkway, and a plenty of community events throughout the year.

Jones Avenue & West 18th Street
The Mahon Spray Park offers plenty of creative, interactive water elements. The park includes other play areas for kids of all ages. Mahon Spray Park is open daily from May to September.

Waterfront Park
As one of only three national level pavilions, the North Shore Pavilion, located at Waterfront Park marks the presence of the world's longest recreational trail. The Trans Canada Trail spans 24,000 km through 13 provinces and territories.

Located near the SeaBus terminal, the Lonsdale Quay Market is home to a variety of fresh food vendors, unique retail shops, artisans, restaurants, craft brewery, kids play area and hotel.

Centennial Theatre is home to a variety of local and international performing artists, as well as host to seminars, film festivals, awards ceremonies and corporate workshops.

Waterfront Park
This traditional Japanese garden was designed to commemorate the friendship between the City of North Vancouver and its Japanese sister city, Chiba. Chiba Garden is open daily from 9am until sunset.
