Notice is hereby given that a closed meeting of the North Vancouver Policing Committee will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 commencing at 9:00 a.m, at the North Vancouver RCMP Detachment, 147 E 14th Street, North Vancouver BC .
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss information that is held in confidence between the municipality and another local government and a third party.
Members of the public are advised that this meeting will be closed to the public as issues pursuant to Section 90 of the Community Charter will be discussed. In accordance with Section 90 of the Community Charter, these issues will be stated by resolution before the meeting is closed, but are as follows:
“90 (1) A part of a council meeting may be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered relates to one or more of the following:
(n) the consideration of whether a council meeting should be closed under a provision of this subsection or subsection (2); and,
90 (2) A part of a council meeting must be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered relates to one or more of the following:
(b)the consideration of information received and held in confidence relating to negotiations
(ii)between the municipality and another local government or between another local government and a third party.”
