Join us to celebrate the opening of the new Crosscut Bridge on Thursday, August 20!
Crosscut Bridge Community Celebration

- Location: 1700 Rufus Ave (Crosscut Bridge south access via Loutet Park)
Enjoy a free, family-friendly afternoon filled with entertainment and activities, and be among the first to walk, cycle or roll across the City’s newest pedestrian and cycling connection.
The Crosscut Bridge (formerly known as the Casano-Loutet Overpass) stretches over the Upper Levels Highway, providing people of all ages and abilities with a safe and accessible pathway between schools, services and neighbourhoods. The bridge will improve access to parks, recreation areas, community amenities and key North Vancouver destinations like the Lynn Valley Town Centre.
The bridge will officially open at 12 p.m., followed by celebrations in Loutet Park. Come along for live music, fun, and opportunities to learn more about this new infrastructure and its role in supporting active transportation in our city.
The Crosscut Bridge Community Celebration is hosted by the City in partnership with TransLink and Our Community Bikes.
