Advance voting for the City of North Vancouver 2026 General Local Election begins on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
Eligible voters can cast their ballot in advance at City Hall, 141 West 14th Street, on the following dates:
- Oct. 7 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Oct. 14 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
General Voting Day
On Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., eligible voters can cast their ballot at any of the nine voting locations across the City.
Mail Ballots
The deadline to request a mail ballot has passed. If you are voting by mail, you must ensure your ballot is delivered to the Chief Election Officer by 8 p.m. on October 17 to North Vancouver City Hall (141 West 14th Street, North Vancouver, BC V7M 1H9).
Who Can Vote?
To vote in the City of North Vancouver, resident electors must be:
- A Canadian citizen;
- Age 18 or older on the day of registration or General Voting Day;
- A resident of the City of North Vancouver or of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) Ustlawn – Mission Reserve No 1 on the day of registration;
- A resident of British Columbia for at least 6 months immediately before the day of registration; and
- Not disqualified by any enactment from voting in an election or otherwise disqualified by law.
