Filming in the City of North Vancouver on Sunday, October 5, 2025, will result in temporary road closures and traffic delays in Lower Lonsdale. From 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, vehicle convoy and police vehicle scenes will be filmed along Low Level Road and East 3rd Street, requiring periodic closures and traffic control in the area. Road users are asked to plan ahead and expect delays.
Street Closure and Decreased Traffic
Starting at 1:00 p.m. the production crew will film several police vehicles travelling east on Low Level Road from St. Andrews Avenue. This first route of filming will not halt traffic and the set’s production vehicles will be escorted by RCMP.
Starting at 4:00 p.m. the production crew will film several police vehicles and a police roadblock travelling east on East 3rd Street beginning at Moody Avenue. The police roadblock will divert the police cars onto Heywood Street and end at East Keith Road.
This filming sequence will include a full street closure on East 3rd Street; however, this will not apply to transit vehicles, emergency vehicles or first responders. Film production will maintain an open fire lane at all times. Intermittent Traffic Control will be on site to help direct transit vehicles through the area.
Regular traffic access will resume by 7:00 p.m.
