Mahon Park

  • Discover the mysterious meadow behind Chris Zuehlke
  • To step away from urban life - take the northern most trail and bridge crossing in Mahon Park (trail north of Chris Zuehlke). A couple of huge cedars and if you go in the Spring you will see lots of Skunk Cabbage in bloom!

Central Lonsdale

  • Queen Mary Community Garden - the plantings are taking off, especially the clematis vines on the fence
  • Seating area northeast of Chesterfield Round-about (by the Green Necklace)
  • Sit under a big tree in Victoria Park West in the summer - look up into the sky and look at the leaves as the sunlight passes through them (e.g. horse chestnut tree)

Grand Boulevard

  • Visit the northeast corner of Ray Perrault Park for an unexpected view of Burrard Inlet and downtown Vancouver (and to think this park was gifted to the public for everyone to enjoy - that's pretty awesome!)
  • Garden trail beside Loutet Farm - amazing what our community can create - and maintain!
  • Loutet Farm
  • Explore the old gravel quarry at Greenwood Park

Cedar Village

  • Walk the boardwalk or take in a game of frisbee golf in Eastview Park

Lower Lonsdale

  • Mid-block walkway between apartment towers from 2nd Street to 1st Street leading to northwest side of Jack Louck's Court
  • The Shipyards granite blocks along the water for an impromptu picnic lunch

  • Meander the creek path in Sunrise Park
  • Lynnmouth Park trail between the bridges
