Transportation Corridor Studies

A transport corridor is a planning term for a linear area, defined by one or more modes of transportation, e.g. walking, cycling, public transit or driving, all of which share a common route.

The City is collaborating with the District of North Vancouver and ICBC on a joint transportation corridor study:

The aim of this study was to improve safety along the corridor.

Collecting information on the way people travel through these corridors by walking, cycling, taking transit or driving is key to develop options to improve safety for all transportation users. In October 2016, the City and District invited residents who live on or travel through these corridors to share their experiences and ideas.
