In March 2022, Council endorsed a comprehensive plan for Kings Mill Walk Park with the goal of renewing and improving the park to support the changes coming to Harbourside neighbourhood, to enhance connections to nature, improve climate adaptation and to meet the community’s needs.
Beginning late September 2023, the greenspace area south of Harbourside Place will be closed to the public due to construction of the Harbourside Waterfront Development. Kings Mill Walk Park and park areas west of Harbourside Place remain open and accessible.

About the Park
Kings Mill Walk Park is a popular destination waterfront park and is a key connection in the regional, multi-use North Shore Spirit Trail. The park is situated between Mackay and Mosquito creeks and offers stunning views across Burrard Inlet, beach volleyball, picnic areas and an off-leash dog area.
With the changes to the Harbourside and Marine Drive neighbourhoods, the City of North Vancouver has developed a comprehensive plan for Kings Mill Walk to renew and improve the park in response to changing community needs. The plan includes opportunities for shoreline and habitat restoration, mitigation of the effects of sea level rise, an all ages play zone and enhancements to the North Shore Spirit Trail and the off-leash area.
