2026 Property Taxes in The Mail, due July 2

2026 Property tax notices are in the mail and are expected to arrive this week. Property tax revenue supports essential services, programs and infrastructure in the City. 

Property taxes are due Thursday, July 2, 2026.


Access Your Property Tax Information

Property owners can view their tax transactions, balances, and billing summaries from current and previous years online at icity.cnv.org.
  • To access property tax information, you'll need your 6-digit access code and 9-digit roll number, which can be found at the top of your tax notice.
  • To access utility account information you'll need your 6-digit access code and 13-digit utility account number, which can be found on your utility notice. 

 

Ways to Pay Your Property Taxes

1) Banks and other Financial Institutions
Pay through your financial institution in person, online, or over the phone using the 9-digit roll number found on your property tax notice as your account number (you may need to exclude the decimal point).

2) Mail
Mail in your payment by cheque made payable to City of North Vancouver. 
Mail to: Property Tax Office, City of North Vancouver, 141 West 14th Street, North Vancouver, BC V7M 1H9

3) North Vancouver City Hall
Payments can be made in person by cheque, cash or debit at City Hall, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. If paying by debit card, please verify with your bank that your daily limit is large enough to cover the transaction. 

North Vancouver City Hall is located at 141 West 14th Street, North Vancouver, BC V7M 1H9.

4) City Hall Drop Box
A 24-hour drop box is available at the north and south entrances of City Hall to leave payments by cheque. Cash payments must be made in person. 


Programs to assist with your property taxes

Home Owner Grant: The provincial Home Owner Grant helps reduce your residential property tax. Learn more and apply for a grant by the tax due date directly with the province at gov.bc.ca/homeownergrant or call 1-888-355-2700 to learn more. 

Property Tax Deferment Program: The Property Tax Deferment Program is a low-interest provincial loan program that helps qualified homeowners pay their annual property taxes. Learn more and apply directly with the province at gov.bc.ca/PropertyTaxDeferment or call 1-888-355-2700.  

Pre-Authorized Tax and Utility Payment Plan: The City offers a pre-authorized tax and utility plan to make monthly pre-payments on your estimated bill. All 2025 tax and utility fees must be paid in full before enrolling in the 2026 Payment Plan. Learn more and apply at cnv.org/PrepaymentPlan.
