The community is invited to drop into an event that will kick off a two-year process to update the City of North Vancouver’s Zoning Bylaw.
Date: Saturday, June 3
Time: 10am – 2pm
Location: Civic Plaza, 14th and Lonsdale
The event will include opportunities to talk with staff about the Zoning Bylaw, learn more about how to provide input, and participate in games, a Lego station, and win prizes.
About the Zoning Bylaw Update
The Zoning Bylaw Update project aims to create a modern document and process that is user-friendly and adaptable to the needs of our community, both now and in the future.
Zoning shapes the way neighbourhoods look and feel by setting the rules for where different types of housing and businesses can be located, and the design and size of buildings. The Zoning Bylaw Update goals include:

Develop an innovative and equitable Zoning Bylaw that is flexible and socially conscious

Streamline and simplify Zoning Bylaw regulations and related services and processes
The Zoning Bylaw Update will take place over the next two years with opportunities for community input throughout the process.
