City Hall will be unavailable to public access due to statutory holidays on:
- Monday, December 25, 2023
- Tuesday, December 26, 2023
- Monday, January 1, 2024
During December 25, 26 and January 1, Gateway and City Hall services will not be available. From December 27 to December 29, core business services will be provided online and via telephone from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. In-person services will be available between 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Regular operating hours will resume on January 2, 2024.
IMPORTANT: During statutory holidays, construction is not permitted and inspections will not be scheduled.
Online Services Available
The City offers a number of online services, including:
- CityCollect provides updates and reminders for curbside collection, including Green Can and recycling.
- Permit payments and business or dog licence renewals can be completed with CityServe
- Report non-urgent issues such as streetlights or sidewalk repair with CityFix.
- Complete an online Service Request Form for Engineering (i.e., streets, utilities, sidewalks) and Parks.
- Pay a parking ticket online.
- Bylaw violation? Email bylaw@cnv.org with the specifics, including your address.
After Hours Emergencies
For sewer, water, drainage, or road emergencies, call the Operations Emergency After Hours Line at 604-988-2212.
Curbside Collection
There will be changes to garbage and Green Bin collection schedules. Download the CityCollect app for updates and notifications about your zone or visit cnv.org/CurbsideCollection.
Snow Clearing
To report snow or ice issues on roads, call Operations at 604-987-7155 (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday). For snow-clearing concerns, email bylaw@cnv.org. Learn more about the City’s snow clearing priorities at cnv.org/Snow.
