Emergency Support Resources for Residents of 260 East 12th Street

North Vancouver City Fire Department responded to a fire at 260 East 12th Street on Tuesday, December 13. There is significant damage to the building and residents have been displaced, although no injuries were reported.

North Shore Emergency Management (NSEM) is providing Emergency Support Services to residents affected by the fire. All residents who have been in contact with NSEM have received temporary housing and resources for food and clothing.


Support for Residents of 260 East 12th Street

NSEM is providing Emergency Support Services to residents affected by the fire.

The Reception Centre at the NSEM office located at 147 East 14th Street on the 2nd floor will be closed over the weekend (Saturday, December 17 and Sunday December 18). It will be open on Monday, December 19, after which it will close. NSEM will still be in contact with residents and providing support.

Donations to Support Displaced Residents

North Shore Emergency Management is working with St. Andrew’s United Church to coordinate donations to support the residents who lost their homes.

Cash donations can be made in the following ways:

  • In person: Cash or cheque donations can be made in person at St. Andrew’s United Church during office hours: Monday 9am to 1pm and Tuesday to Friday 9am to 4:30pm. The church is located at 1044 St. Georges Avenue.
  • Interac E-Transfer: Online E-Transfers can be made to office@st-andrews-united.ca.

Please indicate “Fire Donation” with your contribution, and include your name and address if you would like to receive a charitable tax receipt for any amount over $25.
