The City of North Vancouver supports cycling as a healthy, efficient and non-polluting transportation option for both commuter and recreational cyclists. We're working to improve the bicycle route network and provide facilities to encourage more cycling, in keeping with the vision outlined in our Official Community Plan and Mobility Strategy.
Council approved Priority Corridors for the All Ages and Abilities (AAA) Bicycle Network in 2019, prioritizing key corridors for infrastructure upgrades across the City. In addition to creating more protected bike lanes and off-street pathways, these priority mobility lanes will connect key destinations in the City making it easier for people to choose walking and rolling as their form of transportation.
We are upgrading and expanding our current bike network including wider protected routes which will appeal to a broader range of users and devices.
