The Shipyards, a defining aspect of the City's identity and development is the soul of the City's Central Waterfront. A community gathering place for events and celebrations, it's a success story that is beginning another exciting chapter with the development of Lot 5.

The Foot of Lonsdale is undergoing major changes. Work is underway to make way for a new public open space as well as the Polygon Gallery.

Shipbuilders' Square houses a community stage for concerts, plays, farmers markets, buskers and general festivals which take place regularly throughout the summer season.

Burrard Dry Dock Pier a stunning 700-foot Pier that offers both a public promenade and adjoining moorage opportunities for leisure boats and ocean-bound visiting ships. For more information on the history of the Pier, click here.

The North Shore Spirit Trail is envisioned as a waterfront-oriented, multi-use and fully accessible greenway which will provide pedestrians, cyclists, inline skaters and people with mobility aids access across the North Shore, from Horseshoe Bay to Deep Cove.

With over 90 shops and services, as well as a boutique hotel, the Lonsdale Quay has been a favourite destination for both residents and visitors since 1986.

Waterfront Park is one of the most popular vantage points for taking in the Vancouver skyline and North Shore mountains.

King's Mill Walk is a 1.5-kilometre-long oceanfront trail and park experience.
