COVID-19 Support for Businesses

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is impacting City’s businesses and their operations. The City has been helping the local business community get the most accurate and up to date information to help business owners make informed decisions through this challenging time and assist them in meeting the Province’s safety and operational guidelines . To assist businesses affected by COVID-19 we’ve created this business resource hub which includes information about Mayor Buchanan’s Economic Recovery Task Force, Shop CNV program and more.

For all the latest news and updates from the City regarding COVID-19 visit cnv.org/COVID-19.

The City is providing various supports to businesses, including Mayor Buchanan's Financial Recovery Task Force.

Temporary Park Use Permit for Businesses

The City is offering local businesses the opportunity to book space in parks and public spaces to operate programs that they would normally offer within their indoor business space. This parks permit initiative was successfully piloted in last year, and has been restarted for 2021. Applications welcome.

We're connecting with local businesses, such as grocery stores and banks, to assist in lineup management outside of their business. For assistance on queue arrangement in front of business please contact Edison Ting, Streetscape Planner at eng@cnv.org
