Mosquito Creek Bridge Replacement Project

Roadwork and construction occurs throughout the City on an intermittent basis. During these times, the City advises residents and commuters to expect minor traffic delays and parking disruptions and to choose an alternate route if possible. Signage is posted prior to any road closures and regular updates are provided below.

Grand Blvd & 23rd St E September 29, 2021 September 29, 2021 A City Parks crew will be removing a hazardous tree in the natural area adjacent to Grand Boulevard & 23rd Street East. The corner section of road will be closed during the active tree felling, and the area will be secured with spotters who will ensure public safety and direct traffic. Traffic and pedestrian warning signage will be installed at 19th Street East  and 23rd Street East. Hours of work: 9am-3pm.
Moody & E 3rd September 3, 2021 September 30, 2021 Construction of new traffic signal. During work hours expect lane closures on 3rd St and Moody Ave; road to be fully opened after work hours. Hours of work: Monday-Friday 9am-3pm.
Lonsdale @Keith Road (north) July 19, 2021 September 30, 2021 Construction of new traffic signal. During work hours expect lane closures on Lonsdale; road to be fully opened after work hours. Hours of work: Monday-Friday 9am-3pm.
Marine Drive from W 15th St to Bewicke Ave February 18, 2020 Fall 2021 Mosquito Creek Bridge replacement project. Construction is underway and will take place in three phases.
