About the SASTP Mini-Grant Program
The SASTP Mini-Grant Program funds up to $500 to support schools across the City with educational and engagement activities that encourage and promote safe and active travel.
Whether it’s hosting events like Walk and Roll to School days, organizing safety workshops, bike repair days, or creating campaigns to promote active transportation and transit use, the SASTP Mini-Grant Program can help City of North Vancouver schools make a positive impact on student health, safety and the environment.
A list of eligible schools, activities and applicants can be found at cnv.org/MiniGrant.
Previous SASTP Mini-Grant Recipients
Past recipients include Queen Mary Elementary, who used the funds during the 2024-25 school year to create a lock lending library that provides safe, high-quality bike and scooter locks free of charge to students.
During this same school year, Westview Elementary received funding to hold a “Roll into Spring” event, where students decorated their bikes and scooters, participated in a bike parade and held a pizza party for the two divisions with the most students who rolled to school.
