2025 Remembrance Day Service & Parade

November 06, 2025
The City of North Vancouver welcomes the public to attend the Remembrance Day Service and Parade, organized by North Shore Veterans’ Council Canada, on November 11, 2025.

The parade begins at 9:15 a.m. at the Armoury on Forbes Avenue, led by the JP Fell Pipe Band, and marches towards the Victoria Park Cenotaph for the Remembrance Day Service. The public is asked to gather at the Victoria Park Cenotaph by 10 a.m. as the service will commence at 10:45 a.m.

Following the service, the parade will return marching up Lonsdale Avenue towards 15th Street, turn west and proceed back to the Armoury by noon.

Veterans who wish to participate in the Remembrance Day Service and Parade are welcome to do so. For those unable to attend in person, a livestream will be available from the North Shore Veterans’ Council Canada at nsvcc.ca.

Poppies in the Parklet

Play CNV partnered with Alcuin College students to create poppies with handwritten messages to mark Remembrance Day and honour Veterans. These handmade poppies are placed in Central Lonsdale City parklets at 14th and 15th Street and will be visible along the Remembrance Day parade route on November 11, 2025.

The parklets will be decorated with poppies from Friday, November 7, 2025 until Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Road Closures

Full road closures along West 15th Street, East 14th Street, Lonsdale Avenue towards Victoria Park, and the 100 block of East Keith Road, will be in effect from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Remembrance Day. During this timeframe, local traffic will only be allowed to exit the 100 block of West Keith Road. While the parade and ceremony are taking place, expect traffic delays and plan travel ahead of time.
