On July 25, the City of North Vancouver is set to open the brand-new Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre (HJCRC). As the City’s largest-ever capital project to date, the Centre is designed to focus on the health and well-being of our community. With over 188,450 square feet of program space, each part of the Centre is carefully crafted with our community's physical and mental health, wellness, inclusion and diversity in mind.
The Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre is provided by the City of North Vancouver to support the health and well-being of people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Named in honour of Harry Jerome, a local hero, world record holder, celebrated Olympic athlete, and enduring inspiration. His extraordinary accomplishments, resilience and commitment to community continue to inspire generations. This Centre stands as a lasting tribute to his remarkable legacy.
