How do I contact the Mayor and Council?

Who is the current Member of Parliament (MP) for North Vancouver?

When is the next Council Meeting?
Council Meetings are usually held on Mondays at 6:00 p.m. with the third Monday of every month typically set aside for public hearings. To learn more about when and where Council Meetings take place, see our Council Meeting Schedule page. You can attend Council meetings here at City Hall (141 West 14th Street), or watch Council meetings live online from the comfort of your home. Also available for your convenience are online videos of past Council meetings which you can watch in their entirety or view only a video clip of the particular Council discussion of interest to you.
How can I find out what was or will be discussed at a Council Meeting?
Agendas are available for both past and upcoming Council Meetings. For your convenience, weekly Council Meeting Agendas can be sent directly to your desktop via email. You can also choose to receive your Council Meeting Agendas with or without links to relevant reports and documents. Where can I find information about recycling and scheduled garbage collection in my area?

How do I apply for a business licence?
A business licence application form is available online or from City Hall. If you would like details about the approval process or more information about setting up your business, visit our Business Licences section.
Where are dogs permitted in the City?

How do I report a bylaw infraction, request a City service, or express a concern with a particular civic project?
The City welcomes your interest, input and feedback regarding any City related issue. Fill out our Community Feedback Form and a City Hall representative will respond or direct you to the appropriate department, agency or individual.
When are property taxes due and how can I pay?

How do I register for leisure and recreation programs?
The City offers a variety of recreational activities and programs suitable for people of all ages and fitness abilities through the North Vancouver Recreation Commission (NVRC). Which parks are located in the City and what amenities are available at each park?
There are 40 parks and public green spaces in the City of North Vancouver, each offering various amenities including: playgrounds, hiking trails, tennis courts, artificial turf, picnic facilities and concession stands. What are GIS maps and how do I use them?
The City's geographical information system (GIS) is a computer-based tool that allows you to find information about the City quickly and easily. You can load specific features to produce a tailored GIS map that suits your needs. For example, you can search for a City property, view a GIS map to see where the property is located, and then use one of the available GIS map tools to find all the relevant information available about that property. Locate a park, school, shopping centre or major building by visiting our GIS Map page. If you need assistance at any time click on the "Help" button and a pop up window will guide you through the mapping process.
How do I volunteer for a committee?
The City encourages you to volunteer your time and expertise in serving the community. For information about the City's various Committees, first access our Committees section where you will find detailed information for each Committee, including an application form.
Where do I find the latest information about arts programs and events in the City?
The City's thriving arts and culture community is supported by The Arts Office. The Arts Office offers year-round programs and a variety of events for people of all ages and interests. Access their website through our Arts & Culture section or check the Community Events Calendar regularly for new events happening in the City. You can also visit our Public Art page to read profiles on the various public art displays located throughout the City.
