Transportation Corridor Studies

A transport corridor is a planning term for a linear area, defined by one or more modes of transportation, e.g. walking, cycling, public transit or driving, , all of which share a common route.

The City is collaborating with the District of North Vancouver and ICBC on two joint transportation corridor studies:

The aim of these studies is to improve safety along these corridors.

Collecting information on the way people travel through these corridors by walking, cycling, taking transit or driving is key to develop options to improve safety for all transportation users. In October 2016, the City and District invited residents who live on or travel through these corridors to share their experiences and ideas.

Further opportunities for public input are being planned for both corridors for 2018. Announcements will be communicated closer to the date.
