Business Licences
The City recognizes the value of small businesses to the community and is committed to helping entrepreneurs establish themselves and their business. If you are interested in starting a business in the City of North Vancouver, please review our Business Licence Bylaw and complete the Business Licence Application Form.
Renew Online
If you have received a business licence renewal notice, mailed out early December, you will be now be able to pay for the renewal online with your credit card. You will require your account number located at the top of your renewal notice. Once completed your Business Licence will be mailed to you.
BizPaL
Because the most difficult part of starting a business can be the initial set-up and paperwork, the City, through BizPaL, is providing prospective business owners with easy, one-stop access to related business information. If you're an entrepreneur looking to build a business in the City, you've taken an excellent first step by using our new BizPaL service.
Home-Based Business Licence
If you are applying for a home-based business licence and you reside in a multiple-unit building, you are required to obtain approval from your landlord or strata council. Click here to download a copy of the approval form letter.
