Sports Fields

The City of North Vancouver works with the District of North Vancouver, School District #44, North Vancouver Recreation Commission (NVRC) and the Sports Council to provide our residents with ample space for recreational and organized sports.

To encourage year-round exercise in our community, grass fields, artificial turf, and all-weather fields are available to be booked through the NVRC.

Recreational pick-up games of ultimate frisbee, soccer, and other informal activities, can be played at some of the City's passive park spaces on a first come, first served basis.

These areas include:

  • Waterfront Park (North)
  • Mahon Park (West of Fen Burdett Stadium)
  • Ray Perrault Park (West of the sports field, not on the soccer pitch)
  • Grand Boulevard (North of 15th Street).

The City also has six all-weather fields that are often available for casual use.

For more information on booking a field and which fields are available for casual use, please contact the NVRC at 604-983-6318 or parks@northvanrec.com.
