*Meeting Guidelines

  • Special Council Meeting, May 15
    Attendees:
    Identified Stakeholders

This was an opportunity for stakeholder groups mentioned below to each make a 10 minute presentation on behalf of their agency to City Council that included their proposed business case and fundraising in support of their potential inclusion in the new HJCC complex.

These are organizations that have been previously identified through the HJCC process. The participating agencies include: Silver Harbour Seniors Centre, NV Sports Council, Flicka Gymnastics, Aquatics Society, NS Curling Association and NS Lawn Bowling Club. Members of the public could attend this event, however, input was limited to the groups listed above.

  • Town Hall Meeting, May 16
    Attendees:
    General Public

This was an opportunity for members of the public to provide input into the HJCC project at this stage in the process. Each speaker was given three minutes to speak. Given that a Special Council Meeting for identified stakeholders took place on May 15th this Town Hall Meeting sought input from individuals, not formal presentations from the agencies. The speakers list was available for signup 30 min prior to the start of the Town Hall.
