Make a Difference

Volunteering for one of the City's youth advisory committees is an excellent opportunity to get involved in the local-decision making process. Youth committees allow you to connect with peers and members of the community, hone your communication skills, boost your resume and provide input on a number of important issues.

Some possible youth committees include:

Children & Youth Initiatives Fund Committee

Each year the City invites three young people who live in the City to participate in the Children and Youth Initiatives Fund Committee to review grant applications for children and youth programs.
