Concerts in the Square

The City of North Vancouver is pleased to announce the return of its highly successful music series, Concerts in the Square, as well as opportunities for local performers.

This year's Concerts in the Square summer series will present free contemporary concerts on Saturdays in August. A Children's Festival will debut on Saturday August 24th and the popular Seniors Strawberry Tea will return on Sunday August 25th.

The successful onsite feature 'Art on the Pier' will also return, promoting local artists, photographers and painters whose work will be displayed along the waterfront walkway in a series of themed art exhibits.

Performers, bands and fine artists interested in participating are invited to contact Concerts in the Square producer, John Donnelly & Associates info@donnellyevents.com or visit www.facebook.com/ConcertsInTheSquare.

The concert series and Art on the Pier will take place on August 3, 10 and 17, 2013. The new Children's Festival takes place on August 24th and the Strawberry Tea on August 25th.

Concerts in the Square is presented by the City of North Vancouver and takes place at Shipbuilders' Square in the Shipyards, located at 15 Wallace Mews near the Lonsdale Quay, along the City's waterfront.
